Action For Nature’s International Young Eco-Hero Award program honors the work of young people between the ages of 8 and 16 who have done creative environmental projects. The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are Mathematics, Science, Literature, Music, Technology, Philosophy and Outside the Box.
TheLeo W. and Alberta V. Thomas Utz Scholarship provides three awards annually to three top students (one in each of the following areas - Math, Science, and English.) The amount of the scholarship is $4,000 per year for four (4) years each pending academic review and fund performance. The students must maintain a 3.25 GPA annually. Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship provides opportunities to students who want to build their talents and change the world! We are continuing to award scholarships of $10,000 per student – renewable each year. The program will continue to add up to 200 new recipients each year, and will be open to individuals studying engineering or computer science that demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities. Majoring or planning to major in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Math, Physics, Information Systems/Management Information Systems or Information Assurance. An effort will be made to give preference to applicants who have demonstrated leadership capabilities (evidenced by volunteerism, mentoring younger students, STEM-focused extracurricular activities, work experience). Have a compelling personal story and/or family circumstances such as being a member of a military family.
Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) Foundation Scholarship- Applicant must be either a high school senior planning to enter college next fall or an undergraduate or graduate student whose grades are above average. Applicant must be intending to pursue a college curriculum directed towards a career in applied geophysics or a closely related field.

The UNCF STEM Scholars Program is open to high school seniors who are African-American/Black, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and plan to study a STEM field in college, including Biological/life sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Sciences, Engineering, or Mathematics. Applicant must have demonstrated financial and unmet need as measured by the student’s college or university.
