Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) Scholarships have provided more than one-million dollars worth of educational assistance for Asian American student-journalists. The effort aims to increase Asian American representation in the media on a broad scale. Vietnamese, Cambodian, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander students are invited to compete for AAJA resources. Scholarships values range from $1,000 to $5,000 each, and are awarded competitively – based on academic excellence.
The Asian Pacific American Librarians Associationstands as a supplemental college financial aid resource for students of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage who aspire to careers as librarians. The Association provides scholarships valued at $1000 each to qualified applicants.

The APIA Scholarship is open to Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) high school and college students who will be enrolling or are currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in the upcoming academic year. There are multiple scholarship opportunities that vary in award amount, number of years, field of study, location, and more. For high school seniors, current college students, and students with GED entering college in Fall 2019.
The Shui Kuen and Allen Chin Scholarshipis for incoming freshman or current, full-time undergraduate at a two-year community college or four-year college/university. The student or parent must be currently/formerly employed at an Asian-owned or Asian cuisine restaurant. Student should have community advocacy and social justice work on behalf of Asian American, immigrant, gay and lesbian and/or other progressive causes.
The U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC) Education Foundationaims assistance toward Asian American college students. Major corporations have established their hallmark scholarships with USPAACC, and Asian American businesses have stepped forward to endow their own-named scholarships. Today, approximately 15-20 scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 each have been awarded every year to high school seniors nationwide for their post-secondary education.
