We understand that school can place a tremendous financial strain on both students and their families. To help with the costs of attending college, we are offering the Advocates Law Scholarship.
TheAgnes Jones Jackson Scholarship was established in the memory of the late Agnes Jones Jackson who was a long time NAACP member from the San Francisco branch. To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must be a current member of the NAACP.
The AXA Achievement Scholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation representing all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship. In addition, for every student who wins a scholarship, a grant in the amount of $1,000 will be made to the winner’s school. Applicants to the AXA Achievements Scholarship must demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities.
The Best Buy Scholarship Program has been distributing financial aid since 1999. Currently, 1,100 high school students receive $1,000 each, payable to the college of your choice to cover part of your school expenses for the fall of your first year. Best Buy has hired a company called Scholarship Management Services to administer the program on its behalf, but you can apply online through the Best Buy site. The application period usually starts in December and ends in February, and the company advises applicants not to wait until the last few days because of increased traffic that slows the site down.
Beyond the Borough Scholarships up to $20,000 over four years will be awarded to full-time students who have been accepted to an accredited four-year college, university, or equivalent (culinary school, for example). Applicants can be current high school seniors entering college in the fall or students currently attending a college or university. The BigSun Organization is proud to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. They are offering an annual scholarship to a student athlete regardless of which sport they are participating in.
TheCoca-Cola Scholars Program scholarshipis an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 30th class in 2018, the Foundation has provided over 6,000 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $66 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. Courage In Student Journalism Awards- The two awards recognize a middle school or high school journalist and a media adviser or school administrator who has stood in support of the First Amendment. The student journalist and adviser or school administrator need not be from the same school.
Create a Greeting Card Scholarship Contest- Submit original photo, artwork or computer graphics for the front of a greeting card. Must be 14 years or older at time of entry and be enrolled in High School, College, University or Homeschool. The finalists will again be decided by voting!
The Daughters of the American Revolution awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines including history, law, nursing, and education. The DAR Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to qualified applicants regardless of race, religion or sex. All applicants must be United States citizens. All multi-year scholarships, typically renewable up to four years, must be for consecutive years of attendance at an accredited college or university in the United States. The only exception is the American Indian Scholarship that is available for students pursuing vocational training.
Digital Privacy Scholarship- You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home schooled students are also eligible. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Complete the application form including a 140-character message about digital privacy. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about digital privacy.

The Future Mentors Scholarship is open to incoming students who have received an acceptance letter and current college students. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to mentorship. Scholarship is open to domestic, international, and undocumented students, as well as students attending online universities.
The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship is a merit-based program that helps students fulfill their dreams of a higher education. The scholarship is named for Gen and Kelly Tanabe, best-selling authors on education, whose generous donations fund this program.Applicants must be a 9th-12th grade high school, college, or graduate student including adult students., legal resident of the U.S., currently in school or planning to start school within the next 12 months.
The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board. In addition, Scholars are invited to participate in a special awards program and receive ongoing leadership-development support.
The Gloria Barron Prize For Young Heroes scholarship honors outstanding young leaders who have made a significant positive difference to people and our planet. Students must be between the ages of 8 to 18 years old and must be nominated by a peer or adult.
The Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. While many programs are directed primarily to recognizing academic achievement or leadership potential, the Horatio Alger Association seeks students who have exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity, as well as have critical financial need.

TheImagine America High School Scholarship Program has helped thousands of high school seniors afford a career education at hundreds of career schools across the United States. Each year, every high school in the United States and Puerto Rico may nominate up to five graduating seniors to receive a $1,000 Imagine America scholarship! Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship- JRF Scholars receive grants of up to $30,000 over four years to complement the financial aid they receive from their colleges or universities. The John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contestchallenges students to write an original and creative essay that demonstrates an understanding of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage.The maximum word count is 1,000 with a minimum of 700, not including citations and bibliography. Use at least five varied sources such as government documents, letters, newspaper articles, books, and/or personal interviews. The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools; U.S. students under the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED program in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or the U.S. territories; and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas.

The Practice Acts of Kindness Mini Contest is open to students aged 4 to 18 years of age worldwide. Student must share their random or non-random acts of kindness by creating a video, poem, story, drawing, photograph, or anything else that captures one of their acts of kindness.
StudentCam Contest is C-SPAN's annual national video documentary competition that encourages students to think critically about issues that affect our communities and our nation. Students in grades 6-12 are asked to create a short (5-6 minute) video documentary on a topic related to the competition theme. With cash prizes totaling $100,000, C-SPAN awards prizes to 150 student documentaries, and over 50 teacher advisors.
TheTall Clubs International Foundation, inc. is a non-profit organization created to benefit the interests of tall people. Currently, the focus is on funding scholarships for students under 21 years of age, about to attend their first year of higher education, and who meet the height requirements of TCI— 5' 10" (178 cm) for women, and 6' 2" (188 cm) for men. Annually, TCI Foundation awards mulitple student scholarship(s) of up to $1000 each. Additionally, many of the affiliate Tall Clubs of TCI have their own local scholarship programs.
