Boston College Presidential Scholars Program- Approximately 15 full tuition scholarships are awarded per year to entering freshmen by the Presidential Scholars Program, in conjunction with the Financial Aid Office. These scholarships also include full funding for summer programs following the first three years of study. Incoming freshmen are paired with faculty mentors and library resource persons. There are also two series of biweekly evening meetings featuring invited speakers and topics relating to personal growth, leadership and profession.
Cameron Impact Scholarshipwill be awarded annually, in December, to approximately 10-15 high-school seniors (applications are due in May and September preceding the awards). This four-year, merit-based scholarship (“Scholarship”) is intended to cover the full tuition and ‘qualified educational expenses’ (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service) at the recipient’s chosen collegiate institution (estimated to be between $20,000-$50,000 per annum). ‘Educational expenses’ vary amongst higher institutions, but the Scholarship is intended to cover tuition, fees, course-related expenses, books, supplies, and equipment.
The Center for Women In Technology (CWIT) at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) is a merit-based scholarship program for talented undergraduates majoring in computer science, information systems, business technology administration (with a technical focus), computer engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical/biochemical/environmental engineering, or a related program at UMBC.
The Coolidge Scholarship is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study. This one-of-a-kind scholarship may be used at any accredited college or university in the U.S. Anyone of any background, pursuing any academic discipline of study, may apply to this non-partisan, need-blind, program. Students apply for the Coolidge Scholarship during their junior year of high school. Finalists are flown in for a finalist weekend at the Coolidge Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, Vermont where they interview with the Coolidge Scholars Finalist Jury. Recipients of the Coolidge Scholarship are notified of their award late in their junior year, before college application (note: current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Finalists who are not named Coolidge Scholars are eligible to receive a smaller, one-time, college scholarship.
The Cornelian Scholarship is for students who have exemplified excellence in academics and a commitment to social justice are eligible for the full-tuition. Students must have a 3.5 weighted GPA and 1220 on the SAT or 25 on the ACT. Students who apply with the ROCO Option (submitting SAT/ACT scores are optional) are also eligible.

The Tom Joyner Foundation® announced the ‘Full Ride’ scholarship program that will cover all the expenses of one student planning to attend a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). Students will receive full tuition and stipends for up to 10 semesters to cover on-campus room and board and books. Students must meet the required academic standards each semester to renew the funds each year. Graduating high school seniors can apply for the scholarship by going to the Tom Joyner Foundation website.
